Is Dipping the New Black?

In what is undoubtedly a result of the WingDipper-inspired dipping craze that is sweeping America, our friends at Nabisco will be introducing a new dip-able Oreo this summer.

The classic round Oreo has been redesigned into a limited edition oblong oval shape called Oreo Dunkables. The new and improved shape makes it easier to dunk into a glass of milk.

While the plan is to run this as a six-week trial, if the cookies sell well, they could see a more permanent position on the cookie shelf.

As for buffalo wings, until those chickens start changing the shape of their wings to make them easier to dip, our only other option is to stick with the WingDipper.

The WingDipper Keeps Getting Some Love

For those of you watching the show, the WingDipper had another quick shot on American Inventor last week. We're also on the show's site, in the photo album.

And the WingDipper site continues to experience decent traffic, much of it direct (which hopefully means the name is getting out there.)

Even when little things don't make a difference in the grand scheme (like the ABC photo album) it's still a bit of a thrill, and keeps you motivated to continue to try and make something out of the original idea.

Trade show booth construction happens this weekend. Stay tuned...
