Announcing the Snapsuey Logo design...

Well, as mentioned in my previous post, 2006 should see the release of a few cool new projects. And only 12 days into the new year, I am pleased to say we have a finalized logo for our biggest project, Snapsuey. For your viewing pleasure:

The detailed explanation of what Snapsuey is exactly is still under wraps, but the gist is that it's an events-based photo site. What we liked about this logo design is it incorporates the concept of "photos" in a subtle yet visually appealing way, and while the flash burst reinforces the abstract camera image, it also brings a sense of movement to the logo. It is also reminiscent of confetti, which relates well to the "events" focus of the site. From a web perspective, it resizes and compresses well, which was important since we may be using it as a watermark.

I have saved all of the iterations which got us here, and at some point will together a full post detailing the creative process. But I was really excited and wanted to get it out there. More great stuff on the way...
